About Chef Natalie
As a Chef and Executive Pastry Chef, Natalie Evans has 12+ years of culinary expertise. Initially pursuing a degree in culinary arts Natalie's plans to become a gourmet chef were eclipsed by her increasing interest in pastry arts. Now her deep affection for desserts and confections inspires her love for creating sweet and savory flavor profiles. Having spent the last 12 years working in fancy hotels, casual fine dining restaurants, full service catering and opening bakeries, Natalie is grateful for her culinary journey.
Fortunate to open her own bakery concept to service local farmers markets in northwestern Maryland, Natalie upholds the philosophy that "the world needs my talents." Adopting her philosophies and values, Natalie is dedicated to teaching, mentoring, leadership, and creating lasting relationships all while maintaining high standards for excellence.
Natalie is proud of her Afro-Caribbean heritage. Her family is from the island of Jamaica, West Indies. She is 41 years old and single mother of two sons. She enjoys cooking Jamaican food, hiking, travel and inspirational music.
