About Us

At the Service Board (tSB) we seek to foster a world where all youth can let their inner light shine, no matter what barriers they face. For 29 years, your support, and the support of others like you, has enabled our small but mighty organization to make a true impact on community power and foster a more equitable future. Our programs facilitate equitable access to snowboarding and other outdoor activities for youth to increase diversity in the outdoors and build confidence, in combination with service projects, mentorship, and social and environmental justice education. Through deeper advocacy and critical investment in BIPoC and low income youth voice and engagement in civic and environmental life, our year-round programs have supported hundreds of young leaders in navigating complex social, economic, environmental and personal barriers in order to successfully transition into leadership roles across King and surrounding counties.
